Meet Atlanta Orthodontist: Dr. David Lee
DMD, MS, Board Certified Orthodontist
Dr. David Lee is a partner orthodontist at Braces Braces. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Stevens Institute of Technology, Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, and Master of Science degree in oral biology from Temple University. Dr. Lee also completed residency programs in orthodontics and advanced education in general dentistry, along with the Aligner Intensive Fellowship.
His other notable work includes previously teaching Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Eglin Air Force Base and Orthodontics at Lackland Air Force Base. Dr. Lee has been ABO Board Certified since 2005.

Dr. Lee may have missed his Olympic calling. Enjoying everything from cycling to gymnastics and pole valuting, Dr. Lee loves to stay active.
Dr. Lee is no stranger to adventure. Did you know that he has been bungee jumping before? Yikes!
When Dr. Lee is not treating patients, you can find him enjoying the outdoors at one of the beautiful Georgia parks.
One word Dr. Lee uses to describe Braces Braces? Awesome. Dr. Lee you’re pretty awesome yourself!
You want to know what will make Dr. Lee smile every time? His favorite food: pizza. Same, Dr. Lee, same.
Even though there isn’t usually pizza at the dinner table on Thanksgiving. It doesn’t stop Dr. Lee from loving turkey day!
With Dr. Lee’s love of the outdoors and adventures, it’s no surprise that his dream vacation is Hawaii. Maybe he will try some parasailing!
Like every true Atlantan, Dr. Lee knows too well the pain of loving the Falcons, but that doesn’t stop him from wearing his Matty Ice jersey on Sundays. Next year boys!
As a child, Dr. Lee shot for the moon and stars – wanting to be an astronaut. Well, we think you’re out-of-this world Dr. Lee!
If you’re a Dr. Lee patient, it is not surprising to hear that his favorite part about being an orthodontist is interacting with people and helping them achieve their best smile.
Dr. Lee was a U.S. Air Force Colonel for 21 years before retiring and previously chaired the Tri-Service Orthodontic Residency Program. He has extensive experience with Invisalign treatment, combined orthodontics and orthognathics (jaw surgery) treatments, and multidisciplinary treatments.
Dentistry runs in his family! Dr. Lee’s sister and brother-in-law are both dentists and helped inspire him to make a career change from an engineer to a dentist. Dr. Lee has been married for over 23 years and has one daughter. When he’s not practicing, Dr. Lee’s hobbies include photography, bicycling, hiking, kayaking, traveling and reading.
