Dr. Michelle Skelton
Dr. Skelton is a dedicated and passionate orthodontist committed to providing exceptional patient care. With a strong background in research, leadership, and clinical excellence, she brings both expertise and innovation to the practice. Dr. Skelton earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, where she was honored with the Divisional Excellence Award in Orthodontics, the ASDA Award of Excellence, and the prestigious Campbell Award for Columbia spirit. Dr. Skelton completed her orthodontic residency at Columbia University, where she served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Skelton is very active in organized dentistry and has held numerous national, state, and local positions within the American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontics. She has published 14 peer-reviewed scientific articles on past research interests, including orthodontic tooth movement, temporomandibular joint dysfunction, and cancer biology.
Outside of the office, Dr. Skelton enjoys biking and practicing the circus art of flying trapeze. She is an active member of her church and loves to travel with her husband. Dr. Skelton has visited 6/7 continents, including when she honeymooned in Antarctica!

Dr. Ashkan Mahdavi
Dr. Ashkan Mahdavi is an experienced orthodontist at Braces Braces with training in general dentistry and orthodontics. Dr. Ash grew up in Woodland Hills, California before pursuing a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree and Masters in Business Administration at the University of Nevada in Las Vegas. Continuing his academic career, Dr. Ash received his Certificate in Orthodontics here in Georgia.
He has held numerous leadership positions, including Clinic Director of the Ferrin Dental Clinic, and has been recognized as a strong academician. Dr. Ash’s background in teaching as a clinical instructor has carried into a commitment to involving his patients in their orthodontic experience. He strives to exceed patient expectations every step of the way.
When he’s not at our Braces Braces offices in Atlanta, Dr. Ash enjoys working out, photography, droning, and cheering on the LA Clippers and Chargers. He’s a proud dad to his cats, Henri and Nora. And you can find him part-time Instagram influencing at @am.ortho.

Dr. Kerisa Harriott
Dr. Kerisa Harriott is a Board-certified Orthodontist born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica. Dr. Harriott first became interested in orthodontics during her teenage years after having braces for four years. She was able to get a first-hand experience of the smile transformation that orthodontics offered. She was convinced to pursue dentistry from that point.
Thereafter, she went on to attend Randolph-Macon College in Virginia as a scholarship recipient where she graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Chemistry. She would go on to attend Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, obtaining a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree also on a scholarship.
After dental school, Dr. Harriott completed a general practice residency (GPR) at Long Island Jewish Medical Center where she was awarded Resident of the year. She practiced briefly as a General Dentist before starting an orthodontic residency at Stony Brook University. Her training at Stony Brook University included a wide array of orthodontic techniques but not limited to:

In recognition of her hard work and talent, she was given the Turner Fellowship award for academic excellence. Dr. Harriott has several years' experience treating children, adolescents, adults and special needs patients utilizing the techniques she developed during her training.

Dr. Harriott participates in several outreach initiatives both locally and overseas such as dental missions, scholarship fundraisers, health fairs, charity fashion shows, among other efforts. Dr. Harriott is an avid dancer, philanthropist and lover of life.
Dr. Harriott recently relocated from New York with her family to enjoy Georgia’s beautiful weather. She is a new member of Mount Paran Church in Buckhead. On her off days, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Ebun and her two children, Isaiah and Zuri. Dr. Harriott also enjoys cooking and exploring the city and trying out new cuisine.

Dr. Harriott loves to dance and was the co-founder and captain of her college dance team.
Dr. Harriott was a beauty queen and juggled her pageant responsibilities while in dental school.
Dr. Harriott enjoys long scenic drives. So, she’s always down for a road trip!
Dr. H has an eclectic musical ear. Her favorite musicians are reggae sensation Chronixx and rock star, Lenny Kravitz.
Dr. H is a big foodie and loves trying new cuisines. Her favorite all time dish is oxtail with rice & peas. Can you tell she’s Jamaican?!

Dr. David Lee
Dr. David Lee is a partner orthodontist at Braces Braces. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Stevens Institute of Technology, Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, and Master of Science degree in oral biology from Temple University. Dr. Lee also completed residency programs in orthodontics and advanced education in general dentistry, along with the Aligner Intensive Fellowship.
His other notable work includes previously teaching Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Eglin Air Force Base and Orthodontics at Lackland Air Force Base. Dr. Lee has been ABO Board Certified since 2005.
Dr. Lee was a U.S. Air Force Colonel for 21 years before retiring and previously chaired the Tri-Service Orthodontic Residency Program. He has extensive experience with Invisalign treatment, combined orthodontics and orthognathics (jaw surgery) treatments, and multidisciplinary treatments.
Dentistry runs in his family! Dr. Lee’s sister and brother-in-law are both dentists and helped inspire him to make a career change from an engineer to a dentist. Dr. Lee has been married for over 23 years and has one daughter. When he’s not practicing, Dr. Lee’s hobbies include photography, bicycling, hiking, kayaking, traveling and reading.

Dr. Markos
Dr. Markos is a dual-trained specialists in Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry. He grew up in the Boston area, where he received his Bachelor's degree from Boston College and his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. After dental school, Dr. Markos earned certificates in both Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics, while serving as chief resident. He subsequently became board certified in both specialties, an accomplishment achieved by only a small percentage of dentists in the country.
In addition to over 15 years of private practice experience, Dr. Markos has held faculty positions with Boston University and NYU Langone Medical Center. Dr. Markos is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Association of Orthodontics, the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Board of Orthodontics. He strives to create a harmonious multi-specialty approach to orthodontics treatment in order to provide the best possible outcome for his patients. When Dr. Markos is not creating beautiful smiles, he enjoys traveling, fitness, movies and staying up-to-date on the latest dental techniques.
